Is my cage setup well?

IS this a good cage set up for my BP?
Any tips?

Looks like you might want something with more floorspace; you want them to be able to regulate their own body temp, and without enough space to have a cool side and warm side, that's very difficult for them to do.
How many gallons is that tank? Is there any way for you to remove the backdrop and make it a regular non-vertical tank? BPs like floorspace more than vertical space. Once you get some more floorspace, you'll have room to put two separate hides in.

I think that cage is far too small. DVirginiana is right, it's really hard to maintain a proper heat gradient in something with such small floor space. My ball pythons never climb, and I don't know too many that do either. If you want to use that cage, I think the snake would be better off if it was tilted, like suggested above.

That cage is incredibly too small for that snake. My tip would be ditch it and pick up a 36x18x12 or 16 which would be either a 30 gallon breeder or 40 gallon breeder or better yet check out any PVC or HDPE cage like Constrictors NW, Animal Plastics, Vision, Showcase Cages, Boaphiles, or Monster Cages. That cage would be more for a GTP.

I put in her in a much bigger one. Her new cage is 50 gallons big.
Also, can I keep her cage on the floor?

the floor is ok as long as it isn't in a place that gets too draughty, or too busy. air moves around under doors and floors can get cold. also consider your python doesn't want to be where people are constantly walking past disturbing him and also consider is the tank a hazard. ie where someone can easily bump it, trip over it, kids mess with it etc.

I would ditch the analoge temp nd humidity gauge very inaccurate nd do absolutely no good being at the top of the cage.

heating? Just lamp or heat pad? Is heat pad regulated?

Not too bad. I would move the lamp all the way to one deffinite side as to set up hot/cold sides. Believe it or not the placement of decoration and such can effect your temps and be used for a better temp differential. Cheap digital indoor outdoor temp/humidity combo from walmart would be alot better than the analog i must agree. Analogs read more of the glass temp than inside ambient so they can be way off and you'd never know. Some kind of uth control is very importantThe desert beckground is kinda funny but awsome start!
