Western Mass...I'm also concerned about the cost, though, and if surgery is necessary, I don't know how successful it would be on a small BP.

I believe I have remedied the problem. I reapplied the sugar solution and was able to push the rectum back in, and he seems much better now.

Depends on the prolapse, severe ones or those that keep re-occurring may require surgery.
