    Very active Ball Pytthon
My Male Albino Ball Python is very active. About 2 days after feeding, he comes out of his hide and is always moving around. I have an Adult Normal Female and I rarely see her out moving. Is there something wrong? Temps are around 88. Humidity is around 50%. He gets 2 fuzzy rats every 7 days.

I don't know his exact age but i bought him in August last year at the Daytona Reptile Show. I haven't weighed him in a while but he should be close to 200 grams.

Those fuzzy rats may not be enough. He should be on rat pups. The weight of the food should be roughly 10-15% of their body weight as often as every 4-5 days. I have a little lesser girl, who is like 100 grams and eats rat pups. When snakes don't eat enough, they stay in hunting mode and continually look for food. If you up the amount of food he's eating, it'll help him stop moving around as much.

Try thawing out 3 at a time and see if he'll take a third. I had a snake take a rat pup and 3 rat fuzzies in one night and he was only like 350 grams.
