i originally bought two hides, one was a plastic black cube the other a naturalistic rock. cube was too big because im a big dumb idiot. the rock was perfect except it didnt allow for full access to the hot spot. i remembered i had a huge bag full of foam meat trays that i got for free for a leopard gecko project that never happened. i cut one of the largest so it is three quarters the size. the snakes seem to like it and since its square it allows for full access to the entire hotspot. are these hides acceptable? one of the snakes has already pushed it to the middle, but thats fine because it gives me an excuse to open their tubs and see them :D
