    Need help with heating. ..
So, now that my girlie is in a tub, I can't exactly use a heat lamp which means she has no heat source -.- I've been doing my research on UTH, Thermostat, heat tape, etc. I think the simplest route would be a UTH but I know I have to hook it up to a thermostat...that being said I have no idea how to set that up. I also was interested in a thermometer/hygrometer digital duo with two separate probes but am unsure where to place them AND I don't even know what temps I'm supposed to be looking for :( I feel horrible.

Current set up is a large ceramic water dish, a small Tupperware with a hole for a hide (smooth of course), aspen substrate.

Thermostat / heating element is very straight forward. Thermostat plugs into wall, heating element plugs into thermostat. Heating element goes under tub. Temperature probe goes in between tub and heating element ( or I tape mine down onto the heat tape). Adjust thermostat setting by measuring temperature of tub floor with temp gun.

It should be said that your room is going to need to be an absolute minimum of 75 degrees (IMO) for this setup to work. The uth will have very little effect on your ambient or cool side temperature.

In between? What should the temp be?

It can be sandwiched between the uth and cage. You want the floor temp of the cage to be 90 to 92. Adjust thermostat to get those readings
