I am not allowed to go into a store again and hold a snake...ever :P

It did not help that I had an empty rubbermaid at home, a heating pad...in short everything but screen, strap, water dish and hide.

I have acquired a yearling albino jurassic (honduras crossed with florida king) milk snake.

This one is definately a she. She's goregeous, sort of a butter yellow and white. I've got a care sheet that says what's she's eaten, when she last shed. etc. :)

No name yet, but it will come soon :) I could just call her Nyoka :P

Once again, I will post pictures when I get them developed :(

Just a quick question, what's the max humdity it should be (the air) for these guys?

I know they are fine with a low humidity. I just want to be sure she doesn't have a problem with it being too high for her.

The humdity in my um... second bedroom/storage room/library/sacred space/herp room is usually about 50 to 60% with Issa's tank in there. If it's too high for my milk snake (she's on newspaper), I can put in more ventilation holes or something in her rubbermaid.

She also has a few tiny pieces of stuck shed here and there, so I don't think this current level of humidity will hurt her, but I don't want some other problem happening.

I would personally think 50% would be pushing it and would be the max.

I should have the problem solved now. Issa's cage should stay moist enough for him, and I can always move the Jurassic's cage out when he goes into shed, if I need to. Her warm side wasn't quite warm enough, so I've added a heat lamp to her warm side, and that will dry out the air a bit.

That should work - or add more ventilation as you said. Good luck!
