    Is belly rot contagious?
I have a snake with a mild case of belly rot, and the vet has me soaking him in a tub with a betadine solution. Last night I did this, and later on when my daughter had one of our other ball pythons out she noticed he was having a rough shed and soaked him in the same tub I had used for the belly rot snake. The tub had been emptied in between and she'd poured fresh warm water in, but the tub hasn't been cleaned or wiped out in any way. What chance do I have that this snake will now get scale rot? Thanks for your advice.:)

I'd say it's pretty minimal, the Betadine should have killed off any germs that washed off the first snake and into the water.
