    Where to get tubs
Where does everyone get their tubs and is there one that is better than the others? Looking for something with a lid

I get 32q at target and 41q at walmart. Also, my 6q from the dollar store. I forget where I bought my 15q, I think it was target.

I get my tubs from Lowes. I really like the Hefty brand they come with locking lids. The tubs are very sturdy and work well.

Get Vision tubs direct from them. Smooth bottoms, smooth all around the inside, thick plastic. They cost a little more, but are worth every penny!!

I do love my Vision tubs too, but the OP specifically requested tubs with lids. :)

If you are looking for a stand alone tub, you can use Sterilite, Vision, or Rubbermaid tubs. You can them at places like Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, some of the dollar stores, or other places like those. If you think that one day, you might expand into a rack system, I would suggest Iris tubs from Reptiletubs.com.

I use the Hefty brand tubs from Lowes as well. They are perfect. Very sturdy and a little larger then most (34qt) and they have durable lids with locks so that when I move, I can just close them up in their tubs

thank you every one and yes I am looking for the ones with lids. We have 2 sets of racking in the basement that I would like to use as a rack but the shelving does not allow the levels to be close enough together to act as a lid to prevent a jailbreak. May still build my own rack at some point but would like to use the racking we have for a while. Trying to get all the info we can so we can set it up and build it right the first time. I know there will have to be tweaks here and there but would like to build the best setup for the snakes that we can.

well bought one tub from lowes to take home and get some measurements from 15qt hefty pretty clear and locking lid handle on each side. Mostly smooth on the inside little edge around the outer. But what is funny is it looks like the center underneath was setup for the flex a watt its about 5 inches wide straight across the center.
