    New to Cresties
We just got our first few cresties a couple weeks ago.
We still don't know their sexes so names may need to be changed in the future.

We have a third one we named Vidar but we don't have any pictures of him yet.

This is their enclosure below. All the plants are living except the hanging ones.
We have also added purple isopods and springtails.

We feed them crickets in a separate medium sized plastic terrarium.

Let me know what you think.

Looks good. Where'd you get the bowls that go on the side of the tank? Want to pick up a crested gecko at the next expo and would like one of those

    Thanks :)

I got the bowls from Northern Gecko at an expo for $24CAN. It's the Magnaturals Gecko Ledge.
Since you are in the U.S. here's a link to it on Amazon:
    www.amazon.com/Magnaturals-Gecko-Ledge-Earth-Magnetic/dp/B00481DECS/ref=sr_1_1/175-1287404-2065937?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1422460685&sr=1-1&pebp=1422460715990&peasin=B00481DECS

Pangea Reptiles also has one but I didn't like that it was only available in black at the expo.
    Here's a link to it:
    http://www.pangeareptile.com/store/p...-magnetic.html

The Pangea ledge is slightly smaller than the Magnaturals one.

EDIT: Also, I wouldn't bother adding that 3rd magnet at an extra cost. I, personally, don't think you need it as the two magnetics that come with it are really strong.

Nice geckos! Do you have a gram scale to keep track of their weights?

A few pointers that I've noticed from keeping mine (I have 3, 2 of which are 7 years old now).

    - Have 1 food dish per gecko when housing together to prevent food bullying / guarding
    - Check weights weekly when housing together.. If you see one of them dropping in weight, isolate in a kritter keeper with its own food, etc.
    - The little ones are more sensitive to humidity (or lack thereof). I would mist the terrarium daily (lightly) to help with this.

Good luck with them, they are fun lizards. 2 of mine are class pets and the kids LOVE getting to look for them and occasionally pet them when I take them out.

Also, I highly recommend the pangea ledge.. The clear acrylic one. I have 2 of these and they are so much easier to keep clean than the "mushroom" ledges, which get nasty fast and are hard to clean. The magnaturals vine cluster is awesome though. I have 2 in my zoomed terrarium and the geckos love climbing in them. I have a live plant also, but the vine cluster is handy for adding foliage high in the tank.

    Oh thanks :)

No, I've been looking into getting a gram scale to keep track of their weight but I'm not entirely sure of which one to get. Do you have any recommendations?

We have been misting 2-3 times a day. We noticed that humidity level drops to low 40s throughout the day because we have a heat lamp set up as our room gets particularly cold since it's Winter. We try keep the temperature between 65-78. Do you guys think it would be worth investing in a misting system?

Also, I feel like this is a dumb question but our "Zoomed Frog Moss (Pillow Moss)" seems to be flowering? Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Have no idea on the moss :confusd:
I purchased my gram scale from pangea. But it was several years ago so I am not sure if they have the same model. You basically want something that will measure in 10ths of a gram if possible and has a tare (not sure on the spelling) function so that you can put the holding container on it, "tare" it to zero, then weigh your gecko inside the container. here's a link to pangea's scale page. I think the original one I got from them was the first one listed.

For your humidity issues, you could try covering about half of the screen top with either a piece of plexi or try the screen top foil treatment.

Oh for some reason I never thought to use foil to cover it. That's a great idea, thanks for the link and recommendations. I really appreciate it.
