    Quick Question about Cleaning.
    Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying thanks. This forum was a blessing for learning all about balls and how to keep them healthy and happy :gj:

Anyways, my glass tank has water spots on the inside of the tank from misting. They are extremely annoying to look at. I was wondering if there is a safe way to clean these while the snake is still in the enclosure. I know that i can use windex or a bleach solution then let it air out and all that. But i just want to be able to keep the glass clean in between my monthly full enclosure cleaning. If not ill just have to put up with them...

Run into this all the time with my frogs. If you spray with distilled water, there shouldn't be any residue.

This still leaves streaks and doesn't solve the problem.

I have used deionized water. It has worked for me ,because it does not contain any minerals such as lime. Which is one source of water spots.

I mist with bottled water never leaves spots, only marks on my glass are from me trying to slide it open lol

I agree with the ionized water. Also. Get wipe out 2 from your local pet store(about $8.99 here). Spritz once or twice on a clean microfiber(my personal choice as dust clings to it) or paper towel and wipe away my friend. Be sure to only use a little spray on the towel first so it dries quickly.

I had this problem when I had glass tanks. The easiest way I found to clean off the calcium buildup was a razor blade. Definitely take the snake out before doing this though. Like some people already mentioned, use distilled water.

Don't really use glass tanks but I heard distilled water is the best thing to use to prevent water spots
