My attention was caught more by your profile picture. Ive never seen any snake eat a mouse like that. They always go head-first. Did you snap that pic yourself?

Re: balled up balls
Although it is odd, it does happen ... my girlfriends spotted python has swallowed a feeder backwards several different times.

Same, my old BP as well as my red tail boa have both eaten rats ass backwards before. Guess it depends how excited they are about food.

I have a male that eats his backwards. I have a female that goes full periscope to eat in mid air. Not inverted to allow gravity to help. She holds the rat off the ground but eats downward.. Hard to explain

They are some beautiful looking BPs you got there man:gj::D
My boy likes to fling his rat all over the place, lifting it mid-air, slamming it off the side of his enclosure.

Re: balled up balls
I have a corn that ate all her pinkies and most fuzzys tail first, but since we went to hoppers she turns them head first, I guessed it was uncomfortable swallowing against the grain. My BP loves to strike from up in his vines, then drag the rat up in them to eat. He won't be able to do that much longer. I don't think the suction on the vines will support his weight. I guess i'll have to get him a tree to eat in.
I love these balled up ball pics! These snakes are beautiful. My favorite is the first pic. Looks like he/she is hugging itself like it's going to be okay lol so cute [emoji4]
