    My first BP. Gallery
I just got a Ball Python yesterday. That's my first reptile ever to own, but I am so glad i bought the ball python. It's about 20 inches long. I can't name it, because i was told it's too young to tell the gander of it :(. Anyway, I'm in love with it so i took some pictures and want to share them with you guys! :)
http://s1136.photobucket.com/user/ar.../Ball%20Python <- Here is the whole gallery. Please, let me know what you guys think. Thank's and I'm happy to join the family of BP owners :)!

Hello, and :welcome: to BP.net. Those are some nice photos. I like the pattern on your snake. The person that told you that the snake was too young to sex is misinformed. While some snakes can be sexed visually, because only the males will have spurs, Ball Pythons are different, because both genders have spurs. There are two methods for sexing a BP. One is called "Popping", which is where you physically expose the genitals from the vent, and the other method is called "Probing", where you use a set of probes to measure the depth of the genital cavity inside the vent. Both take practice and care, so as not to injure the snake. You can probably find a variety of instructional videos on YouTube on how to perform each method.

    Everything's looking good, I would
However recommend digital thermometers and digital hygrometers, many people use them and find them to be more accurate and easier to read than dial gauges.

As long as you have your heat sources regulated by a thermostat I'm sure your first few months of keeping a BP will go smoothly.
