Not many new threads, so here's my biggest 2014 hatchling with her runt sister
I hatched out bloods in June 2014, and one of the bunch appeared to be a surviving twin in a rotten egg. This little one hatched out at 26g, and has not started eating yet. I did start assist feeding, as it didn't absorb much yolk. I'm still doing this lightly and taking breaks to try to give the little one a chance to eat on its own. I never sexed it, and it's still at a meager 51g. I really hope this little one comes around!
Compare that to one female with the calmest personality straight from the egg. She was the first to start eating (though all took a while to get started) and is now at 381g empty. This one is one of my keepers. The parents are Red Bull bloodline snakes and I am hoping her color ends up nice. I have a great blood for education events, but her color's not great. I want a brighter education animal. That's my plan for her, anyway.

They're both gorgeous girls (?). I hope the little one comes through. She's made it this far, showing she has a strong spirit. I think she'll be just fine.

Wow I've never seen a blood so small. Keep us updated on the cute little one. They are both beautiful!

It was that little snake who made me look at the Bloods and decide I want one.
