I've got a young mexican boa right now in a 20L tank with a 50w red bulb for heating, which i've been running 24/7. I just got a leopard gecko too, which i heard a night time drop in temp is good, so i hooked the leos heat up to the timer that my bearded dragon's lights are on. I am wondering if I should do the same for the Boa. Its 2 months old, about 1 ft long and an inch or two. My room temperature never drops below 68-70. Its actually about 75 right now cause all the heat in the house rises to my room.

So long as your temps do get any lower than that it should be fine they can go down the low 70*'s upper 60*s
