please help!!!!!

so I started my ball python in a 29 gallon tank.I recently built her a new cage 4*2*2 out of an my old melamine entertainment center,I have always used aspen bedding for her so I decided to try out eco earth bricks.with the aspen in her new enclosure the humidity has been running 40 to 45 and I needed something to hold humidity a little better.since I have put the eco earth in the humidity has been way to high(around 90 to 95)!!!im alittle worried.it is still damp,will it even itself out or should I be worried?any advice is appreciated

The first few days will be a little high. You can mix aspen into the eco earth to even it out. I aired mine out an hour a day until it balanced out.

Can you post a picture of your setup? I use a heat laptop on and off so that sped up the process a little for me.

Eco earth out the bag is very damp, it will eventually dry out and humidity will balance out .

What kind of hygrometer are you using? I don't get 90% humidity even when I've purposely waterlogged eco-earth for my frogs. Not saying the reading is definitely wrong, but if you let the eco-earth dry out at all after expanding it humidity that high is weird.

I have tried to post a pic of my setup but cant figure it out lol.it is an all living things digital ,probs,thermometer and hygrometer.thought it was kinda fishy aswell that it would read that high.I actually didnt know you had to dry it out after breaking down the bricks.I have also took it all out today and baked it for several hours to try and dry it out,it got it alot dryer but still damp.I am hopeing my meter is going bad or something cause its still in the 90% range!!!will it hurt her to stay in there while it adjust itself? Yeah, if you didn't let it dry after expanding that def. makes sense.

It'll take it awhile to dry out in a tank (especially if you have it set up to retain humidity). I'd replace it with newspaper or paper towels for a few days and let the eco-earth dry out in a tub. I just feel like it'd dry out quicker that way.
