    Noticed these specks -not mites-
It's winter and back to stuck sheds even with a humidifier running

So after a few rounds on a damp towel in a snake bag, the shed starts coming off and I notice dark specks. I panicked and then see they are not mites. I took a couple pictures and noticed they are only in certain colored areas of the pattern (it's a caramel albino).

Any idea if this is just some kind of speckling as she ages or is it something else? They don't rub off and they don't move. I just want to be sure it's not something to do with husbandry. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...95cc39223a.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...8b8478d5f9.jpg

Temps are good. Belly heat and radiant heat on thermostat. Hot and cold side. Hot and cold side hides. Large open water bowl Humidity is low but monitored and addressed.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the speckles.

Yeah i have similar very little specks on my Pastave too. Nothing to worry about.
They are more prominent on adults like the fire and calico morph.

Yep new markings every time a snake sheds it looks slightly different because it has different skin. you're good! completely natural.

Ok. Sounds good. I am convinced it is just the color changing and nothing to worry about.
