    Feeding question
Hey all I fed my BP about 2 weeks ago a rat a little bigger than her gerth. She took it no problem, but now for the past few days have been trying to feed and she will strike at it 3-4 times but not grab it. Is this normal or is she just not hungry?

If she is striking at it, but not grabbing it then odds are she just wants it away from her. Trying to feed a couple days in a row can cause stress, so make sure everything else is good(temps, humidity, ect) give her a few days and then try again.

So I tried feeding again and still won't take anything. Her temps and humidity are all spot on. Any other thoughts?

How old is she? How much does she weigh? Could just be the time of year. They do go off feed. But those sound like stress out strikes. You might just have to leave her be and give her time to get comfy.

Maybe try a smaller prey item? If it is the same size as the last meal she ate then that's probably not the issue but it's worth a shot

Give her a week with no handling etc.. Then try re-feed.
