    cage size for ball python?
Okay so I have a 11 month old female ball python. I bought her 4 months ago and ive been keeping her in a nice 48"x22"x18" wood/screen cage that i built for her. Mites came and i treated but they came back i guess because they love the wood and i could never really fullyyy clean the enclosure because of that. So I just bought a 55 gallon long glass tank and i bought screen tops. The dimensions for this tank are 48"x13"x21". The length is the same, the width is a foot less on the tank, and the height is just an inch shorter on the tank. I know your're not really supposed to transition from bigger to smaller cages but mine was big in the first place. But im just wondering, will she be okay with this small size downsize? And are the current tank dimensions good for a bp and will they be good for her to live out in this tank? Thanks so much in advance.

it might help if you gave her weight and length since that determines a lot of it. everything I read said 40g or bigger for an adult and yours isnt an adult yet. i also read going too big causes stress as well. but im not an expert
