What to breed to my male pastel?
I have a really nice male pastel, and I want to get into breeding, was wondering what would be a good morph in a female to get for him? Ideas, or suggestions?

Depends what combo you like and how much you can afford.....

I would think of a triple gene animal that you like. Buy a female to breed your Pastel to that plays into the triple gene morph you want down the road.

Say you want a SugarFly (Sugar, Fire, Pastel)......

Start by getting either a Sugar or a Fire female. Then get the other morph female shortly after and start raising her up. After you hopefully make your double gene male morph, then have the other morph female ready to breed the following year to try and make your triple gene morph.

I would suggest a double or triple gene female that also has the pastel gene. That way you would increase the number of possible phenotypes you can generate (because you would get the heterozygous pastel combos as well as the homozygous "super" pastel combos).
