What to do with a pregnant leopard gecko
Ok, i don't have a gecko, but this came up last night at dinner. My daughter works for petco and they sold one of the leopard geckos to a couple, who gave it to their daughter as a gift, and they just found out it was pregnant. The couple came back to the store and were concerned about any special care it might need, cause their daughter really loves this little pet. Well my daughter had no idea what to tell them, so i thought i'd ask here in case this situation ever came up again. I did not know what to tell her, i know nothing about geckos, even the care sheets missedthis one. I told her tosend them to the reptile shop down the street , where there is a reptile vet available 3 times a week. I know just by reading all the posts here, i have been able to give her answers on bps, but this is a new one on me. Just in case they come back, or if it happons again what would be the correct advice. She is veryserious about her job and the animals in her care.
