First time breeder

I picked up some breeder size ball pythons from my friend who needed space and wanted money for another snake to work with, got a 1900 gram normal female that laid seven perfect eggs last year, and a virgin 1000 gram male mojave, got the pair for 200. I know his group at his home so I trusted the snakes to get going right away. He had been cooling them off but not paired them yet.

well I got them both yesterday morning and paired them around 11pm last night, at 1230 they were starting to try aligning, well this morning there was a full lock I'm very excited.

Nice looking snakes! Seeing snakes lock up is what makes a year full of scrubbing tubs and standing over dead rats blowdrying them worth it :)

So they unlocked today around 2-3pm pacific so at least 28hr does a longer lock increase odds at all?
