    What is a "high white"
    Hello all. I was at a local reptile show today picking up feeders and came across this guy and could not resist buying him. I had king's way way back in the day but am unfamiliar with the king morphs. What exactly is a "high white"?

    Gorgeous snake. :gj::gj:

    Was it sold to you as a high white? Granted it has a lot of white in it, my thinking was that a "high white" was a standard california king snake with thicker white bands than black bands.

    Someone with experience breeding and selling would know. I'm curious to what it is then. I would think your snake is more abberant but I'm probably wrong.

    It was marked as a high white on the display case. He had mostly balls,some boa morphs and about 4 kings one of which is the one I bought.

    As far as I can tell it's a line bred trait unless I'm reading it wrong.
