    exposed light bulbs
I bought a home made melamine enclosure recently that I house my common boa in. The original builder put a ceramic light fixture in the top. I'd like to use it but so far I haven't. I'm thinking than it needs a cage around it to keep my boa from possibly burning himself but I've never seen him checking out the fixture. I want to put a black light bulb for night-time viewing. Am I overworried? Opinions please
