New Pinstripe and new to forum
I'm new to the forum so hi :D
My son is 8 years old and snake mad! He got a Corn snake for Christmas 2013 and now just got a Pinstripe BP Christmas 2014. Personally I wasn't very keen on snakes at all before we got him the corm but he was so desperate to get one that I decided I would just have to man up and grow to love them as he does - which I must say I have done. I actually now think that snakes make great pets and love having them.
Here are a couple of shots of the new little fellow posing as a new bracelet for my wife! He is a Sept 2014 CB Pinstripe and is also pos het caramel.

He shed the day after we got him from the breeders and you might notice from this first shot that he has a tiny bit of retained skin on the end of his tail.
I've been reading for tips on this site and understand the best way to deal with this is a short soak and then a towel to try to ease the skin off (probably only about 10mm left right on the end of his tail).

We think he is very handsome!

Thanks. Not really, my son has been told 2 snakes is enough for now! Guess we'll see how we go but realistically not planning on breeding him.
Re: New Pinstripe and new to forum
He is very nice. Did you get the rest of the skin off his tail? It is important to remove because if left on, it could cut the circulation off in the tip of the tail, which in turn could cause the tissue to die and ultimately they loose a portion of their tail, plus you may have to treat an infection.
Re: New Pinstripe and new to forum
Thanks. I got most of it off but there is still a small amount left. As soon as I get home from work I will soak small towel in some warm water and try to coax it off, I wasn't sure what to do for the best but now I know it has to come off I will sort it right away.

Good to hear! You really got a cute boy there! I think spiders and pinstripes are my favorite dominate morphs.
