Gravid or don't go in this season?
Hey all,
I'm a big reader, but not a big writer (plus the english is not my native language, so just... you know...). In my first post I need the advice of more experienced ballers than me.
I didn't bred my '11 spider female in the past season, but in the summer (June) meanwhile the cleaning, accidentally I put together with a male. 15 minutes later, when I want to put back her in her place, the male just locked. In my opinion it's not bad to give it a try, so I put together 5 times again with the same male from june to september, and I observed several locks. I missed or don't have ovi for her, and just nothing happened. At November I lower the temps for the breeding season, and around 8 december I started the pairings. The male don't want to lock with that female. I try with her other males too, but nothing happened. She finished a shed cycle just 20 days ago, and she's started a new just 5 days ago (no mites, no skin problems). She ate two times after her last shed. She's still in the cooler end, but that was always her favorite place.
What do you think what can be that?
Thanks

Just.. Got the answer! That wasn't my plan, but I'll have a lesser-spider cluch soon
Last copulation July '14
last sheds 09 dec, 01 jan, 28 jan
Ovy unknown. They have hides, and I don't disturb them every day.

Just in case (and for spamming out the topic..., cause no one interested :()
She refuse to eat, spend most of the time in the hot side in perfect coil (since 4 days tail inside).
Re: Gravid or don't go in this season?
Yes, ON since Saturday when I saw she's started to prepare something.
What do you think why no one wanted to lock with her since the beginning of December? I thought she's not in the game in this season. Maybe cause of the "old" locks she'll give less viable eggs?
Someone have experience in similar case?
