    No bedding?
So I was wondering if anyone has bare floor on their melamine enclosures? My snakes ALWAYS pee/poo on the very edge of the paper towels so it's not really easier to clean up... Also, I just tried 7th Generation Free & Clear(I'd been using 7th Generation Lemongrass and letting it air for 2 hours, there was still a slight smell), it works GREAT AND has zero smell! I love it! I'd totally recommend it!

I wouldn't recommend bare, there won't be anything to absorb liquid, could make for a nasty cage in no time

Yeah bare isn't a good idea. The paper towels are still going to absorb most of it even if they go on the edge.

I would definitely use something on the floor. Unless you sealed the joints in the bottom of the cage and/or have sealed the cut ends of the melamine, it can absorb liquid and could possibly swell not to mention smell bad from absorbing snake pee. Why not use something like aspen? It looks decent, easy to spot clean and readily available.

Their enclosures are sealed, but I see the point to keeping something in there. I've had bare for a few days now, I don't like it. I'm gonna go back to ugly but easy paper towels :/
