ANGER!!!

Well today i went to a new petstore 2 get some feeders and i decide to look at the herps and stuff for my new 50 gallon and then i saw this baby BP basically aall the scales were missin on the back were the spinal chord is, they were using sand as substrate, no hides just a water bowl, only a heat lamp no uth, no thermometers or humidity gauges, and had a mouse roaming around in its tank!

I wanted to buy it just to get it out of there and get it out of there but i cant afford it!

If I saw something like that I'd seriously call animal control and report them. There's no reason to mistreat an animal just so that people could see it better in the hope that they will buy it.

yeah i would call too....

seriously it really makes me mad ive already reported it and i told them if they couldnt fix the problem you can call me and let me have it!

What jerks! it makes me sick what people will do! That ball python is more than likely to die, it needs serious medical treatment....if it dosn't get it soon...someone needs to put it out of its misery. How would you like it if you had no skin on your back, no room of your own (metaphor) had no thermostat in your house, so it could be 53 F and you wouildn't know! And then on top of t all, while your sitting there in pain and misery, ther eis this annoying litte pest running around!

The pet store that I go to sometimes to get feeders for the snakes in my house have a BP that was born just in May. Its substrate is sand, and they are using a heat rock... yeah, a heat rock, for its heat source. No gauges, or anything either. They do have a water bowl for it, and it does have a hide, a see-thru plastic container (they said so ppl can see the snake if coming in to view it for purchase) and its barely big enough for the poor thing to fit into. This store is the same one me and my ex boyfriend bought one of our snakes from because it was neglected (had burns on its belly). It just makes me so mad.. that poor BP is going to be there for awhile, because I doubt someone is going to want to buy that BP for $100, esp. as young as it is.

That is horrible. I seriously hope animal control takes care of it. Poor thing. Keep us posted.
