Electrical Question

Hi everyone! I’ve been watching videos online of people’s reptile rooms. From watching these videos I notice a lot of people stack their cages on steel shelving units. I would love to start doing this. My only question is how do you manage to plug in lamp devices when the cages are elevated higher? Do I need to call to install higher electrical outlets?
