VE 100 or Herpstat Intro +
I have decided to upgrade my thermostat as well and wanted to get opinions on which would work better for my situation. I am only going to have one snake for the next few years and he will be in the tub with the ultratherm UTH. I am looking at both of these but don't know which will keep the temperature more constant.

The emergency shut off is important to me which both have, I just don't know which is better.

Sorry for asking so many questions about equipment, I just want to get experienced opinions!

Herpstat Intro+ by a long shot. The VE-100 is not a proportional thermostat and won't be nearly as accurate/reliable.

and the intro+ flush mounts, which just looks sexy.

but seriously it is a great thermostat, built in night drop is another bonus you get with the intro plus
