I was browsing around trying to find a good reptile image to carve into my pumpkin, and I found this.

Ignore the fact that it's Martha. It looks pretty cool if you have a ton of pumpkins and you're willing to string lights through it :P

I also found a cobra link, but I'm not sure I want to use a cobra on it :)

Martha Martha Martha...Oh sorry....I was thinking Marsha...darn brady flash backs.

Way to much work for this old man, but a very cool idea.

We once carved up a couple of dozen pumpkins with very cool patterns -- vampires and whatever -- thinking we could sell them on the side of the road to folks in a hurry. When we made it to Halloween early afternoon with only like 1 sold, we ended up driving around delivering them to friends' and family's houses, playing The Great Pumpkin. ;) It was fun and we learned some good carving tricks, even if we did lose money on the deal.

Last year I did a pumkin with Kitty coiled around it and Happy Halloween carved between the coils, took bloody forever but it was cool. I love to immortalize my baby in sculpture, drawing and carving in that case. I can't wait until I get him tattood on me. I want it to be a tattoo of him all balled up, with his head sticking out. Oh so cute

Padiente, that sounds neat. Got any pics? I'd love to see that.

I did it for my sororities pumkin carving contest so it is possible that there are pics. I shall call around and see if anyone has one. I don't know if anyone has picked up on the fact that I don't have a camera :(

Yeah, I plan on carving a generic bp into my pumpkin this year, and possible a pentacle on the other side.

It's a (somewhat crudely) drawn version of Henry with a different pattern, since Issa just won't pose. He is far more interested in exploring whenever he isn't on a human.
