    Ball Python Racks
    Hey all,

I've finally given up on glass 'critter cage" type tanks, and would like to get set up with some sort of a rack or a tub or something.
I'm not planning on getting a whole bunch of snakes, maybe one or two more just for the pleasure of having them.

When looking at racks, there are a TON of options out there and a ton of price ranges, and not really sure what might be best for mysetup... or bang for the buck wise.

The rack will reside in a closet which retains about a 75-77 degree temp all year round.

If anyone has any ideas as to which rack might be the best bang for the buck, please speak up!

Unfortunately with most of the suppliers, they all have to be shipped to me as there aren't many reptile shops around here that carry racks, and I HATE buying stuff on line without seeing it in person first.
If anyone knows of a rack being sold in the Southwest Florida area, please let me know....otherwise, tell me which rack is best that I order.

    thanks all!

Try to get out to one of the Repticon shows and see Chris from CSerpents. I have one of his racks and the quality and price is great. Also if I'm not mistaken he's out of Florida so if you're going to be down there you may want to seek him out as well.

I have 2 boaphile racks and i will be ordering a 3rd after the holidays. They are amazing racks and the build quality is amazing. they are a little pricy but just remember that the rack comes already installed, with tubs and shipping is included in the price. i highly recommend them!

I just picked up my new 3 tub v-70 from Chris @ C-Serpents. Its great quality at a reasonable price...

This is what kind of a guy Chris is:
I live 2.5 hours away from him, I got off work at 530pm, picked up my wife at 640pm, and was over there at 9:20pm to meet me and was SUPER gracious, gave me a tour of his facility and Bs'd a bit before I left.
I was concerned that I was headed out to him way too late in the evening to be fair, but he was like "don't worry about it, drive safely and don't rush, i'll be here when you get here"

Seriously? this is the type of service and professionalism that this industry(and country) needs.

Thanks again Chris, You are on my radar for my racking needs!

Awesome, I've always had good dealings with Chris. I'm planning on picking up a 3 tub V-70 rack at the next show here in Raleigh, I already have the 5 tub version so it will sit right on top of it. I even bought my male Spider from him and it's doing great, never refuses food. :gj:

ReptileBasics.com has racks. Don't remember price but they come with or w/out heat. I built my own for now. Building your own would be your least expensive option. They are very simple to build also. Just do a search on the net on DIY snake racks.
