    shedding problems

Hey, as you can see, my ball python, Sidda appears to be entering shed.
This picture was taken when she came out of her hide for the first time in days. I am slightly concerned, since it has been five days since her eyes started to blue and skin lost color. It seems like she's ready to shed, but she isn't. Am I being impatient? I've kept her humidity higher (60%-70% and fluctuating) sometimes it will be as high as 80% although I feel that may be too high. After buying a temp gun I have managed her temps more accurately. Her heating pad stays at 94-95°. Cool side is 75-79° hot side is about the same as her heating pad in air temp. Last she ate was the 11th of December. I got her at the end of November and she recently shed right before I got her. A few breeders friends tell me to give her a soak, but she is really antsy since she can't see very well and I really don't want to disturb her. I took her to the vet after I got her to make sure she was completely healthy and she passed with flying colors. No respitory issues or anything. She is in a glass terrarium but I have half of it covered with a warm wet towel to keep in humidity and I mist her enclosure 3-4 times a day. Tips? What am I doing wrong? Am I just being impatient? Thanks. I'm a little worried.

All should be good. It usually takes a couple days after the blue phase. All you need to do is make sure your humidity is at least 70 - 75% until it sheds. 80 % is not a problem.

Funny, right after I posted this she came out again and moved to her warmer side. The blue appears to be dissipating but her eyes are still cloudy. There are no spots of skin coming up yet. Skin color isn't as dull. I'm assuming this is part of the process. I am new to this. Lol.
And thank you, I will keep the humidity higher.

If you go to the "General BP's" section of the forum, you can find a sticky article that goes over the shedding process in detail :) It's a good read, and has pics too.

Thank you so much. I'm not really good with navigating forums haha. Really tech challenged.
