    calico BP
I have a Calico that is difficult to feed. He refuses just about anything. So I was at a reptile show and was talking to a ball python breeder and he said that Calicos are the worst eaters and he has never heard of one making it to adult hood. Any of you heard of this fact?

Lol... I'm not as funny as Eric, but if Calicos don't grow enough to breed, there wouldn't be any Calico available for sale.

Please describe your setup and we'll try to help you the best we can.

    morph
that did sound funny, its a morph, not sure the exact combo. Snake a + snake b = snake c. Snake c is the bad combo. Its like carpets and Jags, the jag component makes the snakes haywire, neurological problems.

No. It's not a combo. It's a base morph. A calico ball python is a pretty common single gene animal with no known issues. They grow and reach adulthood just like any other. The person you were talking to is "less than an expert". ;)
