    Shedding help
I have recently brought myself a 4 year old ball python and it's just starting shedding its skin, he has gone through the stages of his bluey eyes and darker colour but he has not been rubbing and only half of this head is comming off on the top. Also a big chunk of his lower back has come off but nothing else.
i would appreciate it if someone could help me.
    Thank you

Incomplete sheds are an indication of humidity that is too low. What is your current humidity? (It needs to be 50-60% all the time and around 70% during shed)
Here's a good thread for what do to about a stuck shed. You could also let the snake sit/slide through a lukewarm damp pillowcase or towel. I would recommend increasing humidity in the tank until the shed is gone.

What are your conditions like in the tank?

Humidity was too low during the shed process...I recommend you put your snake in damp pillowcase and let it crawl around for awhile inside the pillowcase, and see if that helps :gj:

I had this problem before with Monty. I raised his humidity and it didn't help much, so I let him bathe in a warm bowl of water, and he hasn't had a bad shed since.
