New Baby BP! Feeding problems and questions!

Hello!
I recently purchased a female cinnamon BP (130 grams) and she is the most shy snake I've ever come across. She's my first BP, but I've seen others and none match up to how shy she is.
Recently, it was feeding day and I had to make the switch from live to frozen. Yet, she still refuses to eat! no matter what I do, I've left her alone in her 14 qt tub...covered the rat pup in tuna, and even put her in a smaller tub. Any ideas on how I can get her to eat?

Some just wont switch however. How are you heating and presenting?

Try and feed her what she was eating before you got her. After several successful feeding you can then try and switch to frozen thawed.

Shes currently in a 14 qt sterilite tub. The cool side is 80 degrees, and the warm side is 91. The humidity is at 48. I have a zoomed heat mat, a hobbystat thermostat, two small hides, and one medium water dish. I can't feed her live because of my general small living quarters. She was previously on live rat pups. Any other recommendations, please?

Going from live to frozen isnt an overnight thing.
You have to be stonger than her and either wait it out or cave and get a pup.
What do you mean by your living quarters. You are not buying rats to breed, just buy one live pup.

You need to feed what works for the moment being, I can't or won't does not matter when it comes getting your animal to eat for you, you have to do what you need to do and owning a snake means being willing to feed live since not all snakes will switch to F/T.

As Dave stated you will more likely to be successful in switching if you feed what was previously offered and than once established in you care attempt to switch and of course in the meantime no handling.

Sounds good once you have 2 or 3 successful feedings you should be able to switch easily. :gj:

Also remember that the more she weighs the longer you can argue with her to switch.
