    Heat mat inside wooden viv safe for young bp ?
    As above really, I read lots of different answers ? Anybody out there run a mat inside a wooden viv ? Statted of course..... Thanks

    No and the thermostat probe isnt safe inside the enclosure either.
    Water or urine will alter readings.

    The only kind of heat pads safe for inside the cage are Kane heat pads. Those are made for indoor/outdoor use in kennels and such. They have a thick sealed outer cover. Google them and check them out. But like Pitontheprowl said, no probe is safe for inside the floor of a cage. I think some models of the Kane come with a built in thermostat but I'm not sure.
