    Substrate Headache
Originally I was using cypress mulch as a substrate. I recently changed to eco earth after reading about habitat loss. During this transition I’ve been coming across a few problematic issues. The one issue that concerns me the most are these little flying bugs that seem to gravitate towards the substrate. These little bugs look like gnats and they are really annoying! Other issues but less concerning is how messy the product is, and how it takes forever to dry out. I’m really starting to miss using cypress mulch, but feel guilty about using it. Does anyone know of any information regarding cypress mulch that is produce by reptile companies?
