    BP Not wrapped around eggs
We checked on our BP last night around 3AM and there were no eggs. Today at 2:30PM I opened her cage and there are eggs littered around her cage. They are not stuck together, and she is not wrapped around them. This is her first clutch. Why is this? They could have been sitting out for 12hrs, some on the hot spot, some on the cool end. Could they still be good? Putting them in the incubator right now.

Sometimes they will kick an egg or two generally those are bad anyway but having eggs all over the place is definitely not unusual for a first time (I had it happen a few times) and since it was caught fairly early you should not have any problems.

Try candling the eggs as you put them in the incubator and check on them in a few days.

They all have veins and all of them look good. 7 total. Mom just got out of the bath and is in her clean cage. WOW she is so much smaller now! We'll keep a close eye on them.

The pairing was Pinstripe x Queenbee. First clutch for the male as well. We also have been breeding our Pastel x Queenbee and Lesser x Queenbee (I want BELS SO bad!). We've been breeding them for the past 6 months and since this is our first clutch, we really had no idea when they were/are going to lay besides what we could read and try to observe. We didn't witness any of our girls ovulate, but our Pastel is in shed right now and we were feeling huge follicles in her about 2-3 months ago. Maybe this is her pre-lay shed!
