    New rack heat question
    Hey all,

I just built a melamine rack and only have a zoomed reptitherm 16w pad.
I have ordered some heat tape and was wondering if it is safe to have the pad as shown in the pic.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...a2e4ad9c5e.jpg

It's just foil taped down to the melamine board and the probe is packing - taped down.

    Thanks all

I also am having an issue keeping the "cool" side higher than 73-75 F.
My house is ac is set at 75 when I leave for work in the morning, then its put down to 72 or 73.

is there a way to supplement the heat other than a UTH in the front with another t-stat? I currently have the herpstat 1, and not sure if i'm past my time to return and upgrade to the herpstat 2
