    what to get next
We just lost our Chinese water dragon on 12/9/14 due to a vet error  but we now have a large 4x4x18 cage with nothing to put in it. We miss having a lizard in our living room and would like suggestions on what to get next. The enclosure is tall for arboreal lizards. We thought about a frilled lizard, but sometimes they are hard to find. Another is a chameleon but everything I have read, they need a screen cage?? any thoughts and suggestions would be great. Thank you

I have zero experience with these guys (but they are on my list), but for that cage size Tokays might be cool.

You could plant it up and fill it with tree frogs! I don't know what the cage set up is like but if you know anyone who knows stuff about electronics could hook up a small computer case fan on the vent to increase air flow if you had your heart set on a chameleon. A large beauty snake or king rat snake would look awesome in it and would use the space. There are some really cool tree agamid lizards that are starting to enter the hobby even if they are a bit pricey for captive bred animals at the moment. Good luck on your search.

I was thinking the same thing! Whites tree frogs are great, I have two my self. They would love all the space as well
