When to pull a male from a breeding group
So my male kingpin has been on a 3 month fast and he is now at 1103g and was at 1326 . He has only been pairing up with 3 females. I'm not to concerned about his weight currently but just wondering when you would stop him from breeding? Thanks

Was 1326g actually an empty weight?

Depends on the male, but usually we go by empty weights and minimize pairing if they lose more than 10%-15% of their weight.

Yes it was a empty weight after a shed. Thank you for the input Corey

If he looks healthy, I would keep pairing him. Keep his water fresh. You'd be surprised how many females we have had gain 100+g without eating for 2-3 months before they lay their clutch.
