    Misting?
I tried misting my little guy today. He just started his first shed with me and his second shed overall. Only parts of his shed came off, the majority is still on him. I misted him to give him some more moisture but it really startled him and I feel kind of bad about it. Is misting something that should be done and should I continue to do so until he gets used to it?

Mist away. It will get used to it.

It sounds like you need more than just misting though. Having problem sheds means the humidity is not staying at a good level. I use moist moss inside the hides to boost humidity in my glass tank and it works great.

As KMG says I would guess that the humidity was too low during the whole shed process, but yes it is ok to mist to help get the shed off, or even put your snake in a damp pillow case should help :gj:
    Good luck
