    Afraid of spray bottle?
So, I went to spray the cage with water, and Marshall bolted and wrapped up in himself. Has anyone else experienced this?

Of course we have. How would you react if a giant spray bottle from the heavens came out of nowhere to drench you and your house? It's perfectly normal. I'd be more worried if he didn't react.

They get used to it. My young bloods really hated it at first but now they don't even react.

My red tail boa loathes water being sprayed on her or putting her in her tub. She wraps herself around my arm or darts out the top of the tub like its on fire. And this is a 5ftish snake so bath days are pretty exciting when it comes to her. She does like being wiped down by a warm wet washcloth though. My little BP im not sure yet as she is still getting used to me so I haven't given the baptism by sterilite tub bath yet :P

Temperature of the water will vary the reaction as well too cold or too warm and you get a very jumpy snake .... I.E. icebucket challenge .... :O

Oh I temp gun pretty much everything for my snakes and bearded dragon. I usually temp gun the water between 80-90 degrees. She just hates water, has hated it since she was a baby. In about 2 years, she has actually enjoyed a bath and dove under the water and sat there a bit once. Every other time, its either "this isn't happening and im gonna squeeze your arm" or "wanna see how tight I can hold onto the top edge of this sterilite?" but like I said, the warm wet washcloth and she is all for that. Red tails definitely have personality.

The spray bottle would be like having some giant sneeze on you of course they don't like it LOL.

My young BP is the same, doesn't like going into water in a tub, but seems to enjoy (or at least not be bothered) being wiped down with warm wet washcloth.

It's 6:30 AM but my day has been made, thanks to this quote. :P:P Although I probably looked like quite a lunatic to my coworkers for bursting out laughing.

Is he in shed? I never mist down my enclosures just to mist them down. I only do it when the inhabitant is in shed, but yes that is a normal reaction :gj:
