Feed day mistake

So I pull out some rats for feeding day then head out ice fishing. Bringing my hemostats with me because I couldn't find my needle nose... I just dropped them down the hole and have to go home and feed 18 hungry snakes by hand. Including my 8 foot boa. This should be fun

Or, since they're snakes, you can put it off for a few days or even week until you get new ones.

Rats are Already thawed out. I have to order them were I'm at.

I say roll the dice on that 8 footer and feed by hand! It always exciting when I feed my 5 ft red tail boa by hand as she's like 5 feet of scaled death when it comes to feeding time :)

For the boa: open enclosure door, use gentle underhand throw to lob the f/t feeder so it lands about six inches in front of the snake's nose, and close the enclosure. Mine would probably snatch the feeder out of the air.

Long pair of scissors. Pliers. Bar b q tongs. Leather gloves?

I'm going for it what's the worst that can happen.lol

I say teach the boa new tricks... and if all else fails I'd enjoy a good laugh at a bloody hand pictures. J/K
