Have your snakes mellowed out over time?
I bought my first ball python about 8 months ago (he's almost a year old now) under the impression they were basically pet rocks - wrong. He wouldn't sit still for the longest time. Now, after all these months of handling he's gotten to the point where I can wrap him around my neck and he'll more or less stay put. He'll explore a little, but it's to the point I don't have to constantly worry about him sliding off of me. I recently bought a spinner blast (1 year old) and she's acting the same way he did when I first got him and I'm wondering if she'll mellow out the same way. It doesn't particularly matter to me since it's nice to have a snake I can relax with and a snake that I can "interact with."

So, have you noticed your snake mellow out over time?
