New tank decorations question

So I just bought a very small stone/fake plant item from the stire just to add some more clutter in my tank and I was wondering if there is a certain way I should clean it before I stick in the tank?

You should wash the Item and let it dry, then place it in the tank, items that are new can still harbour germs.
