(pictures) Is my BP about to shed? Just checking.
Hey guys. So i took my little BP Vinny out of his cage and had him in my hand, kinda dark in the house. I walked outside to get a scale to weigh my snake (because the digital one I bought was crap) and when I stepped outside, I saw that his eyes look kinda milky and blue. I took him back inside and took some pictures of his head, and sure enough they look kinda milky and blue (with the flash on). Now, I've had this BP since November 21st, and the shedding thread on this site leads me to believe that the younger ones that need to eat every 5-7 days will shed about every 3-4 weeks. Now that I have a working humidity gauge, I can tell how humid it is in the tank (70% when a shed is about to start). But anyway, here's the 3 pictures i took:

I no longer keep the temperatures as high, since people tell me that's a No-no. The warm side stays at like 80-85, cool side usually at 74, humidity between 50-60%. (Also, Vinny now weighs 200grams :) )

Looks like hes about to shed, is his stomach pink?

Also that cold side temp seems to low IMO. I keep mine at 78-82 and warm side 85-88 + belly heat from the UTH @ 83. 74 is kinda pushing it.
