    Keeps yawning?
My new 8 ball yawned about 10 times yesterday within a hour of observing him. I knew he was ready to shed and he kept pressing his nose on things in the enclosure. I fed him and he ate no problem. I woke up this morning and he shed and defecated. Later tonight I moved him to take out the shed it and spot clean and heard no noises, bubbles, or wheezing. I put him back in his enclosure and after a few tounge flicks yawned twice very wide. I thought maybe the initial frequent yawning last night was to loosen the shed on his face but he did twice tonight again. Temps are 82 cool, 94 warm and 83/84 ambient. Shed was perfect and humidity is ~60%. I've never had a RI with all the snakes I have had so not sure whats going on.

Just keep watching and listen for wheezing/popping sounds. When they yawn, they are either unable to get sufficient oxygen to their brains or they are uncomfortable with the way their jaw is positioned. It doesn't sound like anything to worry about, but watch closely to make sure it's not an RI

Sounds like he is just adjusting his jaw.
