do only male red eyed tree frogs call to their mates or croak, or can the females also croak? one of mine was croaking last night--the one that was sold to me as a female.

I have a White's tree frog and he started croaking a few weeks ago, so "It's a Boy!" Yay! Here's a cigar, LoL. I would think that if it's a tree frog, and it is talking to you, then it's probably a boy. Are yours easy to tell apart? Mine is easy to tell apart from others because he has hese cute little white snowflake dots on his rear.

i can tell them apart -- they are different sizes and also the pattern of blue on their flanks is different. their faces are a tiny bit different too if you look close-like their noses are shaped a tad differently. guess i'm gonna have to change HIS name now. :D i think that he was sold to me as a female because he is bigger than the other one i got--which really could just be younger and female as opposed to male--who knows. i'm gonna pick up a few more at the show in greenville, so maybe i'll get lucky and get females this time. :)
