Hey guys I do a small reptile rescue in my home town. I took in a redtail a few weeks ago that has some what of aggression while in its tank. The owner gave it me me because they were scared to even open the lid and because the snake would strike at the glass when anybody would walk past it or move towards it. Im not scared to be bitten so I took it in and have been working with it every day. It has 2 meals down and is getting healthy and is fine once your holding it. But Still looks ready to strike when there is movement around its tank and is very defensive when feeding. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY TIPS???

Try hook training him. It sounds more like a strong food response than true aggression or even defensiveness.
